Over on Design Mom I read about Nie Nie Day, which is this Thursday, Aug. 28th. Stephanie (Nie) and Christian were in a private airplane crash on Saturday evening and are both being treated for serious injuries. Doctors have told the family they are in for months of recovery.
To help with Stephanie and Christian's recovery expenses several bloggers will be celebrating Nie Nie Day by hosting various silent auctions. I don't know them personally, but I think this is a great way to help the family. Noggins will be joining in and hosting a silent auction here on Thursday with all proceeds going directly to the Stephanie and Christian PayPal fund (I'll post more details on Thursday).
Spread the word and be sure to go by Design Mom on Nie Nie Day (this Thursday) for a list of links to all the auction sites. Bid on something you could use while helping Stephanie and Christian.
